YEREVAN. – ARF Dashnaktsutyun supports constitutional reforms, secretary of the parliamentary group Aghvan Vardanyan told reporters.

“The current semi-presidential system of government is not contributing to effective governance. The system enables majority to make all decisions,” he said.

Vardanyan recalled that Prosperous Armenia used to support parliamentary system of governance and now says there is no need in constitutional reforms.

“We do not understand this. We have been for parliamentary system and will stand by this till the end,” ARF member assured.
