YEREVAN. – Armenia's first president, leader of Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Ter-Petrosyan on Friday met with Poland's Ambassador to Armenia Zdislaw Raczynski.
ANC leader briefed Ambassador on political situation in the country, existing obstacles to improvement of democracy and rule of law, economic development and social conditions.
Ter-Petrosyan said presence of illegitimate authorities, migration and corruption are the main challenges the country is facing, ANC press office reported.
The sides exchanged views on regional and international problems, in particular prospects for Karabakh peace process and Armenia-Turkey reconciliation.
