The Eurasian Economic Council will convene a general meeting Tuesday in Belarusian capital city Minsk, and with participation by the presidents of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.  

At the meeting the parties will reach an agreement on the terms for the agreement concerning the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union; the said agreement will enter into force on January 1, 2015.

The leaders of the three countries will also confer on Armenia’s and Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union.  

Belarus and Kazakhstan, however, have serious objections to the terms dictated by official Moscow, and they demand economic concessions from Russia.
