YEREVAN. – The communists of Armenia on Thursday will hold a May 1 Eurasian march in downtown capital city Yerevan, and devoted to the International Workers’ Day.

Communist Party of Armenia (CPA) Central Committee First Secretary Tachat Sargsyan stated the aforementioned at a press conference on Wednesday.

As per Sargsyan, this year the emphasis is put on assisting in the integration processes in the post-Soviet expanse, and Russian President Vladimir Putin has initiated these processes.

For this very reason, according to the CAP leader, the procession will head toward the Russian Embassy, where the participants will express their support to the Eurasian integration and the policy on Ukraine.

Subsequently, the Armenian communists will organize festive activities for children.

At the same time, however, Tachat Sargsyan complained that although May 1 is a non-working day in Armenia, it is not properly celebrated in the country on state level.
