YEREVAN. – The Armenian communists’ traditional May 1 march, which is devoted to the International Workers’ Day, has kicked off Thursday in capital city Yerevan (PHOTOS).

The Communist Party of Armenia and the Progressive United Communist Party of Armenia supporters are participating in the event, the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed.

The participants in this year’s walk are partaking in it with a focus on Eurasian integration, and expressing support to Armenia’s plans to join the Customs and the Eurasian Unions.

For this very reason the march is heading toward the Russian Embassy, where a message to the Armenian and the Russian people will be read, and words of support will be expressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s effort to invigorate integration in the post-Soviet expanse.
