The policy of Eastern Partnership does not force our partners to make a choice between Moscow and Brussels.

Štefan Füle, European Union (EU) Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, told the aforesaid to RFE/RL Armenian Service.  

Füle stated the above-said in response to a query as to whether the EU is preparing a new agreement that will enable Armenia to maintain close relations with Brussels.

“I would like to also mention that if one of our partners makes such a choice, we always respect it.

“As for Armenia, we have clearly said that we will build our future partnership based on all those positive results we have accumulated during the 3.5 years of negotiations,” the EU official noted.
