YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Monday introduced newly appointed Minister Gabriel Ghazaryan to the staff of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Armenia.
First, the premier thanked preceding Minister Yuri Vardanyan for the joint work, and he noted that the legendary Armenian athlete’s aptitude, knowledge, and knowhow will serve the development of sports in Armenia also in the future.
Presenting the new minister, PM Abrahamyan specifically said: “I hope that you jointly will endeavor to continue and develop the ongoing reforms within the ministry. Sport is an important domain for us, and as PM, I will do everything, I will support so you may be able to carry out the projects to be put before you.”
For his part, newly appointed Minister Ghazaryan stressed that he has a deeper and more accurate understanding of the current issues facing this domain, he personally knows the Ministry staff, and stands ready to work jointly and with new vigor. Gabriel Ghazaryan also assured Hovik Abrahamyan that the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs will continue to implement current programs and achieve new accomplishments.
