YEREVAN. – “I am against” (Dem em) civil initiative is a potentially new political force, analyst Karen Kocharyan told reporters on Tuesday.

Kocharyan did not rule out that new political elite may be formed based on the active participants of the initiative.

“None of the functioning political forces can boast of such a principled, consistent and consolidated position shown by the members of the initiative,” he emphasized.

Asked whether the initiative is funded by the influential stakeholders, political scientist said he did not have such information.

“I am against” civil movement continues the series of protest actions against mandatory pension system.
