Azerbaijan handed over captive to Nagorno-Karabakh. The Yerevan delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed reports on repatriated civilian man.
Azerbaijani APA agency reported quoting the website of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons that Mayelyan Vagif Rubenovich, born in 1956 and was taken prisoner on April 20, 2014 in Abdurrahmanli village of Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli region.
He was handed over to Nagrono-Karabakh in Bash Garvand village of Aghdam region, on the contact line between Azerbaijani and Karabakh troops.
No accident occurred during the process under the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
