The presidents of Georgia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan are participating in the summit that got underway in the Georgian capital city Tbilisi. 

Addressing at the event, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev stated that the Georgia-Turkey-Azerbaijan cooperation is of great importance today not solely for these three countries, but for the region and the entire world.

“Our collaboration is based on common interests. At the same time, our joint plans have gone beyond the borders of the region and they are global. For this reason, the holding of the summit is a very significant international event in itself,” the Azerbaijani president noted.

According to him, the parties taking part in the summit will exchange views on cooperation in several domains.

“We will also discuss the subsequent joint action plan,” Gruzia Online news agency of Georgia quoted Ilham Aliyev as saying.
