YEYEREVAN. – Parliamentary faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia will elect the chairman and secretary during a meeting on Wednesday, former secretary Hovhannes Shakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Sahakyan said he gave up his post after he was appointed a chairman of standing committee on state and legal affairs.
“It is a responsible job and combining two of them is not appropriate, since both can be affected if combined,” Sahakyan explained.
