YEREVAN. – The collaboration between the four non-ruling National Assembly (NA) factions (Armenian National Congress (ANC), Prosperous Armenia (PAP), ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and Heritage) may come to an end if any one of them votes in favor of the government’s new program.   

Armenian Center for National and International Studies analyst, political scientist Edgar Vardanyan told the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The government’s program is the main socioeconomic policy which the state conducts for the next several years. And if a [political] force that is considered opposition or alternative votes in favor [of this program], this means it does not oppose the authorities, and it is clear that it cannot have serious collaboration with the other forces; but cooperation is not ruled out on minor issues. 

“[The opposition] Heritage and ANC [NA Factions] will vote against, but it’s difficult to say anything in the case of the other two [PAP and ARF Dashnaktsutyun], since shadow processes are going on.

“I think it is likely that the [parliamentary] four will not come to an agreement, and every one will decide separately on how to vote,” Vardanyan added, in particular.
