YEREVAN. – An agreement on Armenia's accession to Eurasian Economic Space based on the Customs Union will be drafted in the context of the statement made by the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

Artak Zakaryan, chairman of parliament's standing committee on foreign affairs, said the agreement will be signed during the upcoming month.

By signing the document, Armenia will become one of the countries founding Eurasian Economic Union where decisions will be made based on consensus.

Zakaryan explained that Armenia did not participate in the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council held on April 29, as it is not a member of Customs Union.
