YEREVAN. – Armenia residents will soon be able to enjoy the taste of real Armenian tomatoes, Deputy Agriculture Minister said.

Garnik Petrosyan explained that the center of farming and plant protection in Etchmiadzin has already prepared around million of tomato seedlings.

“Our farmers are free to purchase them. So, there will be no lack of local tomatoes,” Petrosyan told reporters on Wednesday.

He noted that the government will provide cucumber, tomato, melon and watermelon seedlings to the farms affected by frost in March.
