YEREVAN. – The program of the Armenian government may be submitted to the parliament on May 17, Chief of Staff-Minister Davit Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The deadline is May 23 but the Cabinet wants to submit the program as soon as possible.

“This will supposedly happen on May 17,” he said.

He noted that other political forces received proposal to cooperate with the government, but not all accepted it.

“We are waiting for the response of some political forces. Our proposal is still in force,” he emphasized.

Harutyunyan does not doubt that the program will get sufficient votes in the parliament, although opposition forces, as a rule, vote against the government's program.
