In the course of Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin meeting with his Swiss counterpart Erika Forster-Vannini, being on a visit to Turkey, the former thanked Bern for assistance in Armenia-Turkey reconciliation, meanwhile expressing concern over the law in Switzerland assuming criminal responsibility for negation of Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire.

According to Turkish Son Dakika, MP from oppositional party Keles attending the meeting tried to persuade Swiss official that actually there was no genocide, “Armenians simply helped Russian troops, that provoked Turks to organize their displacement, which naturally claimed lives.”
