Russian Federation (RF) President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Crimea.

In Sevastopol, Putin plans to participate in the celebrations on the 69th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War during World War II, and the 70th anniversary of the city’s liberation from Nazi Germany.

On this occasion, several festive events, including a military parade, will be held in Sevastopol.

Putin is expected to make a congratulatory address at the parade, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

This is the RF president’s first visit to Crimea ever since the autonomy joined Russia.
