YEREVAN. – The residents of  bordering villages of Armenia's Tavush region marked Victory Day by a parade on May 9.

Together with the soldiers and orchestra, residents of Chinari, Artsvaberd and Aygedzor settlements toured the villages and laid flowers to a memorial to the Unknown Soldier, Chinari village head Samvel Saghoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The villagers visited military unit where they dined with soldiers and participated in sport competitions.

On May 9 Armenia marks Victory in the World War II, Liberation of Shushi and NKR Defense Army Day.
