YEREVAN. – Armenian parliamentary majority on Tuesday voted for the draft bill suggesting amendments to the law on pensions that was submitted by the government.
The bill was approved by 68 votes for, 12 against, and 36 abstentions, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from the parliament.
Prior to the vote, secretary of Prosperous Armenia faction Naira Zohrabyan said the bill is a half step forward, and the faction cannot vote for. However, the Prosperous Armeni MPs could not vote against and decided to abstain from voting, she said.
