The Turkish media are closely following France President François Hollande’s state visit to Armenia, and virtually all of them are stressing his call for Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide.

After visiting the Genocide Memorial in capital city Yerevan, Hollande petitioned to Turkey and demanded that it recognize the Armenian Genocide, the Hürriyet daily reported. 

While in Armenia, Hollande addressed Turkey saying that the Genocide recognition will not divide but unite, T24.com wrote.

During the Armenia President’s dinner given in honor of Hollande, the French President stated that denialism is an insult to the victims of genocide and to the reality, CNN Turk news agency informed.
