STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Thursday received a group of NKR National Statistical Service workers, led by Service Director Karen Nersisyan.

President Sahakyan congratulated the NKR National Statistical Service workers on the 90th anniversary the service, and presented state awards and valuable gifts to several service members.

The NKR National Statistical Service activities also were discussed at the meeting, informed the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

President Sahakyan highlighted the role of the statistical service in Artsakh underlining that an impartial and a precise presentation and analysis of socioeconomic situation depend to a great extent on the activities of this service.
