YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has congratulated the Armenian nation in connection with the International Day of Families.

“I would like to wish prosperity, happiness to the residents of Armenia, and peace within their families,” Abrahamyan stated.

May 15 is the International Day of Families, which proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 to reflect the importance the international community attaches to families.

The first International Day of Families was observed on May 15, 1994.
