YEREVAN. – Armenian authorities' decision not to invite opposition to the events organized within the framework of Francois Hollande's visit was miscalculation, ARF Dashnaktsutyun member Giro Manoyan said.

He noted that French president was accompanied by a delegation comprised of Armenian community representatives having different political views and representatives of different political camps.

Besides, during an official dinner in presidential residence, Hollande recalled his visit to Armenia in 2007 that took place at the invitation of ARF Dashnaktsutyun, but there was no representative of the party at the table.

“Representatives of other political parties were not invited as well, and this could not leave French delegation with good impressions,” Manoyan said during a press conference.

Francois Hollande paid a state visit to Armenia on May 12-13.
