YEREVAN. – The pension reforms are indispensable for Armenia; the old system cannot solve the future problems.
Opposition Heritage Party National Assembly Faction Secretary Tevan Poghosyan stated the aforementioned at a press conference on Friday.

In his words, an opportunity must be created so that people do not laugh at the amount of the pension they receive.
“The main thing is that people need to understand this necessity. We ourselves must realize that the ‘mandatory’ component [of the pension reforms] forms the [people’s] conduct.

“People don’t want to hoard [money]; they want to spend the money available. Solely those who don’t know where to spend the income [are the ones who] hoard [money],” Poghosyan noted.
