YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition National Self-Determination Union (NSU) Chairman, ex-presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan is happy that Saudi Arabia is preparing to reduce the price of oil because, according to him, this means that a crisis in Russia is not far away. 

At a press conference on Saturday, Hayrikyan, however, did not rule out that once the crisis sets off, Russian President Vladimir Putin will start selling more weapons to Azerbaijan.

“Russia must be punished for what it has done with Armenia,” the NSU leader specifically said.

Nevertheless, Hayrikyan is convinced that if Russia is deprived of its main source, it will begin selling arms to Azerbaijan, and this poses a great danger for Armenia.

Under such conditions, Paruyr Hayrikyan urged the Armenian people to separate themselves from the authorities.
