YEYEREVAN. – Out of the 80,761 children studying at the Armenian capital city schools, 6,868 of them will graduate from Grade 9 and 443 others will graduate from the city’s twelve secondary schools.  

The aforesaid was noted during Monday’s consultation at Yerevan Municipality.

On Friday, and in line with the “Last Bell”—a tradition coming from the Soviet era, and which heralds the end of the school year—, the respective events in Yerevan will kick off early in the morning at schools and come to an end late in the evening. 

The celebrations will continue with a concert and festive fireworks at Liberty Square.
