YEREVAN. – The businesses should not be afraid of Armenia’s super Ministry of Finance, Minister Gagik Khachatryan told reporters on Tuesday at the National Assembly (NA).

“We already have done a lot of things, and they are coming from abroad to study our track-record. Be patient and you will see that we will do it. We still will do very important and good things,” the minister assured.

At Tuesday’s NA session, opposition Armenian National Congress bloc NA Faction Head Levon Zurabyan had stated that it is inexpedient to have large businessmen like Khachatryan in the new government.

“My position [as minister] is not for business,” Gagik Khachatryan noted, in particular.
