YEREVAN. – Every Armenian diplomat working abroad must constantly convince local businessmen to make investments in Armenia, PM Hovik Abrahamyan said.

The Prime Minister said the work of ambassadors must be assessed based on their efforts to attract investors to the country.

“Let them present our economy, taxation field, hold conferences. For example, Ambassador of Belarus nearly every day meets with Armenian businessmen urging them to work together. Our diplomats must do the same so that new jobs could be opened. Our compatriots must be able to work here, no leaving the country,” he said.
