The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan does not share the view that there has never been so much pressure during the entire Karabakh peace process, considering the mediators’ and the international community’s recent calls which are contrary to the positions of the Karabakh party. Mirzoyan told the above-said to RFE/RL Armenian service.

“I see no pressure on the Karabakh side. The matter is about the normal negotiation process, the developments.
“When a negotiation process is in progress, it is apparent that both the parties [to the Karabakh conflict] and the [OSCE Minsk Group] Co-Chairs need to express their views, their approaches. And I believe it is inappropriate to use the word ‘pressure’ here. 

“And I find it natural that the position of the Republic of Armenia and the position of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic—that is, the path adopted—have some differences.

“[But] I can assure you that we agree on the objective. But it is natural that each side prefers a certain road to achieve that single common objective,” the NKR FM specifically stated.
