At the invitation of the Polish side, Armenia’s City of Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan is on a working visit to Kraków, Poland. 

Balasanyan on Wednesday met with Kraków Mayor Jacek Majchrowski, who presented the city’s history and current state, and gave information on Kraków’s Armenian community.

In turn, Balasanyan thanked his Polish associate for the latter’s willingness to deepen relations between the two cities, and presented Gyumri’s history and socioeconomic condition.

Subsequently, the interlocutors explored the avenues for collaboration in several domains, and discussed some other matters of mutual interest.

At the end of the talk, Samvel Balasanyan invited Jacek Majchrowski to visit Gyumri at a convenient time for him, and the mayor of Kraków accepted the invitation.
