YEREVAN. – Ruling Republican Party of Armenia is also to blame for the mistakes of the former PM Tigran Sargsyan, Prosperous Armenia MP Stepan Margaryan said in the parliament.

Political majority turned a blind eye to the mistakes made by the former Cabinet, he said, adding there were a lot of mistakes.

“I hope bad heritage will not be a basis for future justifications. The new government must not act as their predecessors who did not accept any critical remarks,” Margaryan said.

The MP said he understands new PM's reluctance to criticize the predecessors, but stressed that now Abrahamyan is not just a politician, but head of the new Cabinet.

“The previous government ruined the country provoking growing poverty rate and unemployment,” he said.
