YEREVAN. – New pension law must come into force by July 1, Chief of Staff-Minister Davit Harutyunyan told reporters on Thursday.

He recalled that on July 1 the increase in minimum wages for public sector will come into force. The government planned to link this process with the pension reform and neutralize influence of pension payments on a personal budget of state officials .

Therefore, although September 30 is determined as a deadline for new package of laws, the government will prepare a bill in June.
