YEREVAN. – The Armenian government preferred private arrangement with business, MP from Heritage party said during the discussion of political forces held in Media Center and aired by A1+.

“Rather than to create legal mechanisms, formal and unambiguous, the government prefers to bring  businessman together to beat everything into their heads. One cannot build a state in this way,” Tevan Poghosyan said, commenting on the recent meeting between Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and businessmen.

This shows that the independent judiciary does not exist, otherwise the entrepreneurs would know where to go, unless provisions of the government's action plan on favorable business environment are not implemented, Poghosyan added.

However, the MP from ruling party did not share his views. Hovhannes Sahakyan the move was “an attempt by RPA to build trust between government and business”.
