YEREVAN. – It is easy to see how political and social field is developing in Armenia, President Serzh Sargsyan said during the fifteenth congress of ruling party.

The political field reflects competition between political forces, and there is almost no free space, he said addressing the delegates.

Serzh Sargsyan believes the existing political field manifests itself as a comprehensive political system, leading to consolidation of political forces.

“The ruling party and the opposition are criticizing each other, but they are not enemies,” he emphasized, calling to work together “for the sake of country's prosperity”.  “We will encourage consolidation of opposition forces in the name of strengthening and improving the political field of Armenia”.

At the same time, he noted that the ruling party and other political forces are not yet at a level to meet the demands of citizens. The President stressed that political forces are already preparing for the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections, but the ruling party is too busy with domestic and foreign policy challenges, as well as issues related to the NKR .
