Dalia Grybauskaite has been re-elected president of Lithuania following a second round of voting. 

According to preliminary data,  Grybauskaite got 58% of votes, while her rival Zigmantas Balcytis polled 42%.

Grybauskaite has been in office since 2009 and is known for her critical remarks towards Moscow. During her political career, she held the posts of Lithuania’s Finance Minister and EU budget chief.
