Flights to and from the airport of Donetsk have been temporarily suspended from 7am Monday, the airport's press service reported.
Several dozens of armed representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk republic arrived at the airport at night demanding withdrawal of Ukrainian troops, spokesperson for the airport Dmitry Kosinov told Novosti Donbassa website.
There was no fire or use of forces, he said, adding that the airport's leadership decided to halt all air traffic.
