The leaders of EU agreed to continue preparations for new sanctions against Russia if necessary.
The statement made by the EU leaders on Ukraine suggests that work on targeted measure continues, RIA Novosti reported.
“We note that preparatory work by the Commission and the EEAS on possible targeted measures is underway and agree to continue preparations for possible further steps on that basis should events so require,” the statement reads.
