EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule spoke about accepting Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia to the European Union in long-term perspective.

The politician noted that EU enlargement is a powerful instrument for transformations in the Eastern Europe. He said European integration perspective is the best motivation to go  on with reforms in Eastern European states, Deutsche Welle reported.

The EU Commissioner emphasized that Association Agreement with Ukraine is not a final goal of bilateral cooperation. Fule is confident this also refers to other states that will sign the document.

Moldova and Georgia initialed the Association Agreement with EU during Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius last November.
