YEREVAN. – In 2013, the environmental protection costs totaled 4.1 billion drams (approx. $11.1 million).
Armenia Deputy Minister of Finance and Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazyan on Saturday stated the aforementioned at the National Assembly while presenting the 2013 State Budget performance.
In Janjughazyan’s words, the 2013 expenditures reduced by 34.36 percent, as compared to 2012, and this was primarily due to the end of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) 2012 loan and grant programs for the protection of Lake Sevan.
