YEREVAN. – The regular session of Armenia’s Defense Minister’s Board discussed the past activities and outlined the future challenges and actions.    

Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan chaired the meeting.

Ohanyan spoke about the situation at the borders and reflected on the most recent incidents, the MOD press service informed. It was noted that the Armenian soldiers standing at the borders perform their tasks in full, and the adversary’s inroads have received an adequate response.

In addition, several military servicemen were presented departmental awards for preventing the adversary’s inroads, exhibiting alertness, determination and courage, quickly orientating under difficult situations, and for their high military discipline and exemplary conduct.

Wrapping up the board session, Seyran Ohanyan gave a set of guidelines and instructions to those in charge of the relevant departments, and to carry out the future activities in the most effective manner.
