YEREVAN. – The Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, on Monday has been offered for sale at an auction again.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned the aforesaid from the Justice Ministr’s Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Orders website

This time the complex is being auctioned off at a 10 percent discount: 17 billion drams (approx. $41,115,178).  
The deadline for submitting bids is June 12.

The Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex management, however, is convinced that the building has been unlawfully offered for sale at an auction. 

The complex was first put up for auction on May 20—and with a starting price of 19,350,100,000 drams (approx. $46,922,028)—, but no bids were made during the next ten days.

According to the website data, the Sports and Concert Complex’s seven-story building—with a total surface area of 46,335.7 square meters, 50- and 40-square-meter ancillary buildings, pools, 2,800 square-meter stairs, and a 95,595.87-square-meter public construction plot of land—is being auctioned off.
