YEREVAN. – Armenia’s first economic zone will have another 30-40 million US dollars of investment, Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan noted at the National Assembly on Monday. 

In Chshmarityan’s words, however, it is still too early to disclose the identity of the four potential investors.
“But I believe we will see the results soon,” he added.

The companies will export their products to the CIS and numerous other countries.

“In short, the respective negotiations are beneficial for us,” the economy minister concluded.

“Alliance” Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) is the first free economic zone that has opened in Armenia. It is operated by “Sitronics Armenia” CJSC, which is a subsidiary of the “Sitronics” Open Joint-Stock Company of Russia.
