Barack Obama asked Congress for $1 billion to increase US military presence in Europe.
During his visit to Poland, Obama said additional measures will reassure NATO allies amid their concerns about Russia's actions on Ukraine, Lenta.ru reported quoting AP.
In addition, the United States plan to increase deployments in the Black and Baltic Seas. The Americans will also boost military potential of non-NATO states: Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia.
