YEREVAN. – Debates on constitutional reforms will be held in Armenia's regions starting from July 1, Constitutional Court President Gagik Harutyunyan said during discussions on Thursday.

The debates will last till the end of July, and it is wrong to focus on the capital only, especially taking into account low level of public awareness in the regions, he added.

Several discussions with the participation of civil society representatives and political forces have been already held in Yerevan.

Earlier the Constitutional Court set the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 as approximate date of referendum.
