YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 412.86/$1 in Armenia on Monday, and this makes for an AMD 0.22 drop from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 562.19 (down by AMD 0.47), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.03 (up by AMD 0.12), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 693.73 (down by AMD 0.53), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,559.01, AMD 252.6, and AMD 19,286.77, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 500,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, and the trading session closed at AMD 412.50/$1.
