A citizen of Armenia has died aboard an airplane which was en route from Yerevan, Armenia, to Krasnodar, Russia.

Interfax news agency reported the aforesaid citing a source at the airplane dispatching service at Krasnodar International Airport, which is also known as Pashkovsky Airport.

“Yesterday, the flight crew informed that the health of a passenger on board the plane had deteriorated. Several minutes after the crew report, the plane landed safely at the Krasnodar airport. During this time, however, the passenger had already died,” the source informed.

It is believed that the Armenian citizen had died of a heart attack.
