YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received information on Saturday at 10:30am.
Accordingly, an accident had occurred at an interstate highway in the Syunik Region, there were affected, and rescuers were needed.

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene, the MES Rescue Service informed.

It was found out that a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado had gone off road—for yet unknown reasons—at the Sisian-Yerevan section of the M2 Interstate Highway, rolled for about 50 meters, and fallen into the road below.    


As a result, the driver, R. A., had died on the spot, whereas the passengers were transferred to the Aghitu village hospital, with various injuries.
