YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.90/$1 in Armenia on Thursday, and this makes for an AMD 0.71 fall from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 558.94 (up by AMD 2.32), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.97 (up by AMD 0.11), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 697.73 (up by AMD 2.16), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,732.8, AMD 258.09, and AMD 18,838.42, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 1.4 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The American national currency was asked and offered at AMD 409.50/$1 and AMD 409.70/$1, correspondingly.
