YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.54/$1 in Armenia on Friday, and this makes for an AMD 0.36 fall from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 556.97 (down by AMD 1.97), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.91 (down by AMD 0.06), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 698.31 (up by AMD 0.58), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,024.95, AMD 262.55, and AMD 19,210.68, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 4,250,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 409.07/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 409/$1.
