YEREVAN. – Within the framework of his working visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, Armenia Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan met with his NKR colleague, Ara Harutyunyan.  

They conferred on the prospects for closer cooperation and the future plans between Armenia and Artsakh. 
Subsequently, the two PMs chaired an extended meeting between the Armenia and the NKR governments, informed the Press Office of the Government of Armenia.

“The development of the economy and the ensuring of the security of our second motherland [Karabakh] is very important for us, and as the PM of the Republic of Armenia, I will do everything to that end,” Abrahamyan specifically said in his welcoming remarks.  

“There is no problem that we will not be able to solve within the framework of our common vision for the future,” Harutyunyan added, for his part.   

“The Artsakh world must be stable, secure, and have a strong economy. An extensive work is done, and the new government [of Armenia] will carry out specific assistance programs,” Armenia’s PM noted.

Hovik Abrahamyan also urged to further boost the economic ties between the two Armenian countries.
